During bauma Munich 2013, Caterpillar was awarded five Diesel Progress Excellence In Equipment Engineering Awards.
Readers of Diesel Progress North America Edition and Diesel Progress International Edition voted for winners in 14 different machine categories. A total of 25,754 individual ballots were cast. Diesel Progress Associate Publisher Mike Brezonick presented the awards at the ZF stand at bauma Munich 2013.
Caterpillar received awards in the following categories:
- Wheel Loaders: Cat® 938
- Wheeled Excavators: Cat M316D
- Crawler Excavators: Cat 349E
- Mini Excavators: Cat E Series
- Compactors / Rollers: Cat B Series tandem roller
