Caterpillar is on top of the emissions rules and regulations to design products for both land and offshore applications. The same engine that's certified to run in the United States is going to be different, based on emissions, than if you want to use it in Mexico, the European Union, the Middle East, or North Africa.
It's important to understand how our end products are going to be used. We collaborate with our customers. We see them as partners to help us with design concepts. We also have application and installation engineers and support to make sure our engines and transmissions are used properly in the application to reduce downtime and maximize uptime.
