Caterpillar Simplifies Specifying of Power Solutions through New Website Search Capabilities

For Worldwide Release: November 8, 2017
Release Number: EEPR1817

Users can narrow searches by country/region, frequency, safety regulations, emissions configuration

PEORIA, IL – Caterpillar Inc. today announced upgrades to the company’s website that enables users to narrow their searches for diesel power solutions to specific emissions and safety regulations within a selected country or region. This feature allows website users to quickly and easily identify the products that meet application criteria from the hundreds of power solutions available from Caterpillar for world markets.

Website users can now narrow searches for select diesel and gas generator sets to 13 geographic and application subsets that encompass country/region, frequency, safety regulations, and emissions configuration classifications. Customers can see available power solutions grouped by geographical regions that include Brazil, Canada, China, European Union, India, Singapore, the United States, and the rest of the world.

“Many consulting engineers, contractors, installers and end users today are operating beyond borders in specifying electric power solutions,” said Anthony Fleming, e-marketing & digital content director for Caterpillar Electric Power. “We have long recognized the need to support our customers quickly with precise specifications for our power solutions, and this enhancement will simplify the process for website users to get the answers they need wherever their projects take them in the world.”
