Earlier this year, Caterpillar became a sponsor of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and this Saturday, we are the title sponsor of their televised competition in the Built Ford Tough Series. The Caterpillar Classic will be broadcast on April 21 at 2 PM EST on CBS and at 8 PM EST on CBS Sports Network.
PBR was established in 1992 by a small group of bull riders and has grown to a sport that attracts up to 1 million live event attendees each year.
Caterpillar is also the exclusive provider of dirt moving equipment, rental equipment and generators for every PBR event. There are between 5-8 pieces of Cat® equipment involved in each event – all provided by (or rented from) a local Cat dealer.
