Two Cat® D6Ns have been playing a critical role during “The Coldest Journey” expedition across Antarctica.
The expedition team has faced treacherous terrain, encountered crevasse fields and blue ice in the first weeks of the expedition. In the last days of April, expedition members found themselves surrounded by crevasses and quickly put the Cat machines to work filling the holes.
Thanks to the D6Ns, the Ice Team was able to move on and continue with the expedition.
