Peoria, IL — Caterpillar Inc. today announced a scope and capability expansion for Energy Rental Solutions (ERS) to address a growing demand for energy-related products and services on the Gulf Coast of the United States. With the expansion, ERS now offers temperature control, compressed air and power generation rental services for the high density oil and gas, refining, industrial, petrochemical, utilities and related industries in the region.
The robust suite of solutions is supported by a highly qualified and experienced staff that provides design, engineering, installation and operation expertise to provide a complete range of supply for all temporary utility needs.
“Having the right people is incredibly important in this business and we are excited about the expansion of the ERS business model in the Gulf Coast. This will allow ERS to bring the value of the Cat Rental Power network in providing rental utility solutions to more customers,” said Scott Milligan, president for Cat Energy Rental Solutions.
In addition to these turnkey rental solutions for planned or emergency utility needs, ERS will manage a project and process engineering staff to function as the Cat Rental Power Energy Rental Industry Center of Excellence (COE). The COE will offer supplementary contract services such as sizing support, application training and customer process engineering support to Cat Rental Power dealers throughout North America.
