Seat-mounted controls.
Take comfort into your own hands with the seat-mounted controls of the Cat 420 XE, 440 and 450 backhoe loaders. With this new seat-mounted configuration, loader and backhoe controls are always easily within reach. The result is a more ergonomic operating experience. LCD Operator Display
The Digital Display makes the user-friendly interface even friendlier. Machine integration allows the operator to tune the implement hydraulics and controls to match their skill set or preferences.
Lower internal noise levels
Reduce wear and tear … on the operator, with less internal noise and quieter machine sounds.
Powershift transmission
Gone are the days of jamming gears. With powershift transmission, you can shift gears effortlessly with the simple twist of a knob.
Spring-Applied Hydraulic Release (SAHR) Parking Brake
Forgetting to set the parking brake will be a thing of the past with the SAHR System. The SAHR parking brake automatically engages when the machine is powered down. Then getting back at it will begin with the simple touch of a button.
Auxiliary hydraulic controls
Improving the operator comfort and experience, E-Stick and Auxiliary Hydraulics are now controlled by joystick-mounted proportional thumb rollers for all models with Pilot and Seat-Mounted Controls.
