The Technical Information Portal (TIP) is an engine/generator-set selection tool, designed to recommend Caterpillar products which meet a customer's needs based on various operating criteria. The tool provides consultants, architects, engineers and owners with technical data for product sizing and selection along with detailed product comparisons.
After you log-in and select the appropriate options, filter your results and view tabs containing detailed information such as benefits and features, technical and performance data, installation drawings and more. You may also share your findings with a colleague.
