A Powertrain Guarantee Customer Value Agreement (CVA) helps make sure your Cat® off-highway trucks, large wheel loaders and wheel tractor scrapers deliver the speed, efficiency and reliability you need.

Cat® Powertrain Guarantee CVAs provide tailored powertrain protection and assurance after the standard machine warranty expires. They protect your machines’ critical components — engines, transmissions, final drives and more — and guarantee their life to either planned component replacement or for up to 10 years.
You can pick between two levels of Powertrain Guarantee CVA coverage. And on top of that, you can shape your plan with your dealer. Prorated and non-prorated reimbursement options let you choose the coverage that’s right for your operation.
Further reduce costs per hour by opting to push coverage terms out to 20,000 hours — the end of first life in most cases. Where it makes sense, you can also combine your CVA with Total Maintenance & Repair (TM&R) and Maintenance & Repair contracts (MARCs). Your Cat dealer will work with you to customize the specific details.
