A 1959 sales piece for Cat® marine power kicked off with a letter from a very satisfied commercial fishing customer based in Newport, Rhode Island. Stephen J. Fougue’s trawler, the Mary and Jeanette, had been submerged for four days following a hurricane, but the Cat D13000 engine emerged from the water running like a champ after a thorough flushing process.
