Caterpillar Safety Services presents free monthly webinars to support customers in building and sustaining safety culture excellence.
These events are delivered by senior safety consultants, often in partnership with Caterpillar customers, and are open to anyone with an interest in improving safety performance. The one-hour presentations are delivered through WebEx and AT&T teleconference and recorded for on-demand viewing through cat.com/safety. Presenters encourage interactivity from participants and respond to questions and comments during the final 10-15 minutes. Topics range from safety culture and safety management to supervisor training and continuous improvement.
The webinars are educational opportunities that provide thought leadership about culture and tips for developing safety management systems that positively impact operational performance. “Caterpillar’s webinars have been a great asset in shifting our corporate safety culture from traditional to transitional, engaging people at all levels in meaningful ways. Without fail I leave each webinar with new information or perspective to help me lead our national safety improvement effort,” said Julie Havel, Corporate Safety Manager at AlliedBarton Security Services.
Greg Andes, Parts and Service Sales Manager at Louisiana Cat, attended a webinar on risk tolerance that included safety information regarding the oil and gas industry. “I really like the fact that these webinars are being offered. In the oil and gas industry, our safety ratings are very important to our culture. This webinar was spot on in providing tips on how to improve safety in our workplace,” Andes said.
Participants learn about successful safety programs applicable to their own workplace. Paul DiFrenna, Corporate Safety Director at Jay Cashman Inc., is always looking for new ideas to improve safety culture. “The webinars help me when I am creating our safety program here at Jay Cashman, Inc. It allows me to hear perspectives of others who have tried these programs and have had success with them. After hearing these perspectives, I can reinforce to my team that the program we are creating is the right one,” said DiFrenna.
Webinar participants will be eligible for periodic promotions on Caterpillar Safety Services training products. Don’t miss out on this free and convenient opportunity to learn about best-in-class safety management. https://www.cat.com/en_US/support/safety/safety-resources/safety-webinars.html
