Caterpillar is exhibiting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014, March 4-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and our technologies are the highlight of our display.
Caterpillar technologies are reshaping the process of using, managing and owning heavy equipment. Every jobsite has its unique challenges, so customers need technologies and services that can be combined and customized. EM Solutions provides customers with technology-enabled fleet management solutions.
“Everybody is connecting more and more assets and they’re trying to do more with less, and they have got to be efficient,” said Andy Wendling, Caterpillar EM Solutions marketing consultant. “They have got to make sure they have the right products at the right time for the right job.”
There are five levels to EM Solutions – and each brings different information to our customers.
“The five levels are great. It builds on the entry point of VisionLink® where the customer can access their own information, their own products out there,” Wendling said.
EM Solutions uses condition monitoring. That’s a proactive analysis using equipment and application data from multiple sources to provide maintenance, component replacement, application and repair recommendations that help our customers lower owning and operating cost, improve availability and reduce repair cost.
“It’s the key differentiator,” said Rick Lippert, Caterpillar market professional. “We have all the technology enabled solutions, but we’re bundling that with the experience and experts that can take all that information and then turn it into the proper recommendation.”
With EM Solutions, Caterpillar dealers now have the framework to consistently deliver on the brand and growing customer expectations. Dealers are prepared and ready to answer the call.
