1) Variable Adjust Boom
A variable adjust boom is great for situations that require extra visibility, machine roading balance and lifting capability. If you’re working in tight spaces or lifting heavy loads, a variable adjust boom will give you the best flexibility to get the job done while providing the right balance in reach and digging forces.
2) Tunneling Machines
Excavators can be used for both surface and underground excavation projects. Tunnel excavators can provide unique solutions to tunneling projects with tunnel heading and loading machines. These machines allow you to work efficiently in soft to medium hard rock as well as when loading excavated material that was blasted. Some even have the option of integrated on-board conveyor systems for loading material without swinging the boom around.
3) Railroad Maintenance of Way
Excavators can provide a sturdy base for road-rail vehicles used to inspect and repair railroads as well as clear vegetation or debris from the tracks. 5) Amphibious Excavators
Amphibious excavators are specially designed to operate in marshy, swampy areas with soft terrain but can also float and propel themselves on water if needed. Uses for these machines include projects such as: waterway maintenance, erosion control, flood protection, landscaping, wetland construction and road building.
