Four Ways to Get the Most From Your bauma Munich Experience
bauma 2022 is almost here and regardless if this is your first or fiftieth time attending the show, these tips will help you get the most from your time at bauma.

Tip 1: Plan Ahead
Sure this one seems obvious, but planning ahead can make a difference between a productive and enjoyable trip or one that’s rushed and inefficient. bauma is HUGE, which means you need to be strategic about how you spend your days. Grab an exhibit map from bauma’s website here and make a list of the places and vendors you’re planning to visit. The Caterpillar booth, led by Cat® dealer Zeppelin, will be located in Hall B6 and the booth featuring Cat engines will be at A4.336.
Can’t make it in person or have to leave early? You can stay updated daily with the news and info straight from our engine stand at bauma, virtually.
Tip 2: Network, Network, Network
Ah, networking. You either love it or hate it, but regardless of your opinion on the matter, there’s no better chance to speak with some of the best and the brightest in the industry. So go ahead and send that email and invite that person to dinner (see tip 3). Who knows, it could very well be the start of a lucrative relationship.
Tip 3: Don’t Forget the Food
Germany is known for its delicacies like schnitzel, brezen and weisswurst, but with bauma’s visitor influx ranging in the tens of thousands, it’s a good idea to go ahead and start booking dinner reservations even if you’re not part of a large group. Use your favorite app to look for top spots to share a meal and book your table.
Tip 4: Have Fun
Whether you’re traveling 10 kilometers or 10,000 miles, take the time to experience all that bauma and Munich have to offer. Set some time in your day to do a little exploring, even if it’s just for five minutes. Take your picture beside a behemoth machine or next to some #PoweredByCat equipment – get the full list here.
