3512E Tier 4 Final DGB Engine
How does the new Cat® 3512E Tier 4 Final engine with Dynamic Gas Blending differ from our Tier 2 aftermarket solution? Plenty of ways. Here, Caterpillar Field Service Engineer Andy Westen gives you a look at one of the key differences: the addition of compressor bypass valve located behind the air shutoff valve.
Why does that matter? By regulating the air-to-fuel ratio when the engine is blending, it helps keep you emissions-compliant and achieving the best possible diesel displacement rate. Watch for more details!
