3500E T4F Well Service / Drilling Engine Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The 3500E T4F Well Service / Drilling Engine Training familiarizes the learner with the engine systems, technologies, operation, and troubleshooting. A fully-loaded 3512 DGB and 3512E T4F SCAC engine with Engine Idle Reduction System (EIRS) installed will be used for familiarization and troubleshooting.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of this training, the learner will be able to:

• Perform removal and install of the Common Rail fuel line and injector. 
• Inspect High Pressure Fuel Pump 
• Recognize the importance of the diesel fuel cleanliness. 
• Troubleshoot engine systems malfunctions and event codes 
• Use System Communication Status to diagnostic datalink faults.
• Validate EIRS system installation. 
• Compare DGB system performance with Caterpillar® specification
