COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Diesel Engine Systems Troubleshooting (DEST) is a labs-only type learning event, where the learner will be exposed to various engine symptoms to be troubleshoot. At the Miami Lakes Learning Center the scenario-based labs will be conducted on fully-loadable engines across the following platforms: C15, C32, 3500B OHT DGB, 3500C, 3500E (T4F Well Service).

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the completion of this course, the technician will be able to:

• Interpret diagnostic & event codes to troubleshoot and validate engine performance parameters
• Troubleshoot engine systems malfunctions
