The Electronics Troubleshooting ILT covers the skills required to diagnose and troubleshoot the electronic system.The learner will be exposed to various fault scenarios for analyzing proper component operation and system response under different failure modes conditions. With an emphasis on the troubleshooting procedures, the most critical FMI codes will be reviewed and discussed: -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -9, and -14. Given this class has emphasis on scenario-based troubleshooting, the learner should have working knowledge of: basic circuits, circuit faults, digital multimeter use, electrical schematics interpretation, Cat® ET, and servicing connector prior to attending this class.
