COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Gas Compression Electronics Troubleshooting (GCET) is a labs-only type learning event, where the learner will be exposed to various electrical & electronic systems scenarios associated with the CG137, G3500, and G3600 engine platforms applicable to the gas compression industry segment. The learner will be exposed to various scenarios for analyzing proper component operation and system response under different failure modes conditions.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of this training, the participant will be able to:

  • Troubleshoot fault codes related to input and output circuits (ie. Detonation Sensors, Fuel Valve, Ignition Transformer, NOx Sensor, etc)
  • Troubleshoot ECUs Power Supplies (ie. ADEM4)
  • Troubleshoot CAN DataLinks faults using different methods.  
  • Trace a faulty wiring
