Tyler Reddick

Driver, No. 8 Caterpillar Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, Tyler Reddick, is set to embark on his rookie NASCAR Cup Series season with Richard Childress Racing in the No. 8 Caterpillar Chevrolet in 2020. Reddick will once again partner with crew chief Randall Burnett.

Reddick first began racing at age four in Outlaw Karts before moving on to mini sprints, midgets, dirt late models and sprint cars. During that time, he became the youngest person to qualify on the pole for the World 100 at Eldora Speedway, as well as the youngest winner at the East Bay Winter Nationals and in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

In 2012, Reddick made his ARCA Racing Series debut before winning during his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start at Rockingham Speedway. Rockingham would also serve as Reddick’s debut in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) in April 2013. Over the next few years, Reddick competed for Brad Keselowski Racing finishing second in the championship point standings in 2015 and ninth in 2016. He went on to compete for Chip Ganassi Racing with a partial Xfinity Series schedule in 2017, visiting Victory Lane for the first time in the series at Kentucky Speedway.

In 2018, Reddick joined JR Motorsports for a full Xfinity Series campaign. The season started off with Reddick winning in the closest margin of victory (0.0004 seconds) in NASCAR history at Daytona International Speedway. Reddick closed out the season with a win at Homestead-Miami Speedway and claimed the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.

Joining RCR in 2019, Tyler Reddick piloted the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro under the guidance of Burnett to six wins, five pole awards, 24 top-five and 27 top-10 finishes on his way to his second-consecutive Xfinity Series championship. Reddick is the first driver to win back-to-back championships in NASCAR with two different teams.
