Cat® 3512C HD Available Now to Order
Beijing, China - Caterpillar Oil & Gas is pleased to launch the Cat® 3512C (HD) land electric drilling module that meets China Stage III Non-Road Mobile emissions levels at the 2015 CIPPE Show. The Cat 3512C HD offers 1245 ekW (1750 kVA), 50 Hz @ 1500 rpm of rated power for land drilling applications. The new land electric drilling module is available now to order from the global Cat dealer network.

Cat land electric drilling modules have become the preferred power solution for land drilling rigs in the Asia Pacific region as customers seek product reliability backed with the support of the extensive Cat dealer network. The Cat 3512C (HD) module offers several key features and benefits engineered specifically to meet the power and load profile of the region’s modern electric drilling rigs. Built upon the industry-leading 3500 platform, the Cat 3512C (HD) is equipped with a rugged base to handle harsh loading and unloading operations. Customers benefit from the module’s long overhaul life with core engine components designed for reconditioning and reuse at overhaul.
Additionally, the ease of installation has been enhanced due to design commonalities shared with the Cat 3512B drilling package. Customers will find the same three-point mount engine and generator base on the Cat 3512C HD module as previous Cat 3512B drilling packages in addition to similar attachment offerings. Beyond fleet flexibility, the new Cat 3512C HD solution also incorporates Cat Product Link to maximize well site efficiency and increase module productivity.
