Caterpillar Oil & Gas Showcases New ESG-Focused Products at CIPPE 2021

Beijing, China – This year marks the 21st China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE), and Caterpillar Oil & Gas is proud to be an exhibitor, located at booth #W1501. Products and solutions featured at the Caterpillar exhibit will include the Cat® 3512B Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB™) engine, TH53 transmission, and Reman parts. Product experts will be available at the show to discuss additional solutions including ESG-focused products, the new aftertreatment option to meet the China Nonroad Stage IV emission standards, Cat DGB technology upgrade kits, and Cat digital solutions.

“Caterpillar Oil & Gas has attended the CIPPE show for more than 10 years. We are committed to showcasing advanced technologies and solutions for the oil & gas industry to help our customers build a better world. With China’s ambitious goals of peaking carbon emissions before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060, Cat DGB technology and its retrofit kits can help our customers utilize more natural gas and less diesel to do their jobs in a sustainable way,” comments Alan Zhang, Caterpillar Oil & Gas Asia Pacific region sales manager.

Caterpillar is pioneering ways to help customers achieve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals with solutions and products to reduce emissions, capture and use flare gas, and lower costs, all without sacrificing on the performance of their operation. Solutions such as the DGB upgrade kits enable customers to optimize their fuel costs savings and keep displacement levels high and emission levels low. This technology is suitable for many applications including land and offshore drilling and provides pressure pumpers with affordable access to a game changing solution that can replace diesel with natural gas while living within tight capital constraints of today’s industry.

Customers can also take advantage of Cat Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), tailored ownership plans that enable hassle-free maintenance, ownership, and peace of mind of equipment health management.  Cat Reman solutions for oil and gas also provide maximum economic and environmental value by providing same-as-when-new performance and reliability at a fraction-of-new costs while reducing the impact on the environment.

Product experts will be available at CIPPE to discuss Cat aftertreatment, a patented technology that reduces the amount of NOx emitted by an engine and helps lower fuel consumption and pollutants. Caterpillar has been in the business of emissions reduction from the beginning. Cat engines and aftertreatment work together for consistent quality and long life. These integrated systems ensure excellent fluid consumption and emissions control with precise diagnostics and thermal management. “For over 25 years, Cat aftertreatment has achieved an accumulation of 1.3B field validation hours. We have become experts at emission reduction, going beyond compliance to a new era of cleaner engines,” said Zhang.

Caterpillar offers a suite of digital services focusing on equipment management solutions. “Each customer is unique, which is why we offer comprehensive services tailored to address their operational needs further enabling work efficiency and lower operating costs,” says Zhang.
