Caterpillar marine announces participation in Miami yachting events
Miami, Florida – Caterpillar Marine is pleased to be taking part in both the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) and Miami Yacht Show to be held February 15 – 19 in Miami. With over 80 years of marine experience, Caterpillar offers the most extensive line of power solutions in the industry.
Caterpillar Marine manufactures the world’s most durable and reliable yacht propulsion engines ranging from 400 BHP from the Cat® C7.1 all the way to 3386 BHP from the 3516C-HD. Cat Marine solutions go beyond yacht propulsion engines with generator sets ranging from the C1.5 at 11 ekW to the C18 at 550 ekW.
The latest Caterpillar Marine engine, the C7.1, will be on display at exhibit #F407 at the MIBS location in Virginia Key; stop by to see first-hand why this engine is ideal for recreational boating applications— specifically smaller vessels and motor yachts ranging from 25 -60 feet in size. Caterpillar’s exhibit C-13/CC35-37 at the Miami Yacht Show (Collins Avenue) will feature the new Cat Three60 Pod 650 integrated marine maneuvering system connected to the Cat C8.7 high-performance diesel engine. The Cat Three60 Pod 650 provides unmatched response and performance for full control and maneuvering of yachts in three operational modes: Leverhead Mode, Joystick Mode and “Three60 Hold” Mode.
While the new system will be on display at the Collins Avenue location, the Miami International Boat Show will also have subject matter experts on to show you how you can Make the Harbor Your Playground with the new Cat Three60 Pod 650.
Both locations will also be staffed with Cat Concierge representatives. With Cat Concierge Service, Cat- powered yacht customers get direct, one-call access to a team of Cat marine power experts.
