Caterpillar Motoren Highlights Solutions to Support Maritime Energy Transition at SMM 2022

Kiel, Germany – Caterpillar Motoren GmbH & Co. KG announces an expanded portfolio with new integrated services solutions and upgrades supporting emission reductions for medium speed engines (MaK). The company will highlight the latest solutions at the 2022 SMM Exhibition held September 6 – 9 in Hamburg, Germany.

The expanded portfolio includes LNG & SCR product upgrades compliant with the IMO III regulation, system conversions that optimize fuel consumption and engine efficiency, and new safety upgrades. Additionally, Caterpillar Motoren offers maintenance, overhauls, and digital solutions. Through the new Repair and Exchange Parts (REParts™) program, Caterpillar Motoren offers customers extensive repair and exchange options that provide same-as-new performance and reliability at a fraction of the new price. The results are improved engine productivity and lower life cycle costs while reducing environmental impact.
"The release of the new offerings represents a further commitment to support customers with solutions throughout the lifecycle of their products as they navigate the energy transition," said Kircher.
Solution experts from Caterpillar Motoren and representatives from the supporting Cat® dealers will be present at stand 206 in Hall A4 to consult with customers and select the most suitable solution for their operational and environmental targets.
