Caterpillar Oil And Gas To Participate At The GPA Midstream Association Convention
Houston, Texas – Caterpillar Oil & Gas is pleased to be taking part in the 2019 GPA Midstream Convention to be held April 14 – 17 in San Antonio. With over 80 years of oil and gas experience, Caterpillar offers an extensive portfolio of products for the industry. The latest gas compression engine series, the G3600 A4, will be a major topic at the Caterpillar exhibit, along with the GCM34, electric motors, and several offerings from the G3500 series.

Since the late 1980s when Caterpillar released the 3600 engine family, the series has earned a reputation in the field as a robust and reliable performer. Introduced in 2014, the G3600 ADEM A4 has demonstrated itself as an industry game changer with over 5.5 million hours accumulated in the field. With proven technology that is exceeding expectations, the G3600 ADEM™ A4 delivers more power, fuel flexibility, and 40% fewer NOx emissions produced on all four configurations.
Cat® electric motors for gas compression deliver the same quality and productivity you expect from Cat engines, with the additional benefit of producing less noise and emissions. Products range from 1,000-10,000 HP at 60 HZ and 50 HZ globally. With over two billion operating hours logged from around the world, Cat engines for gas compression have been developed to deliver high operating efficiency and low maintenance costs.
“For pipeline, storage, gathering, and re-injection, Cat engines are the prime choice for reliable gas compression. Caterpillar offers the widest range of prime mover choices, with power ratings from 71 bkW (95 bhp) to 6,100 bkW (8,180 bhp).
