Finning CAT To Showcase Oil & Gas Solutions At The 2017 Argentina Oil & Gas Expo

Buenos Aires, Argentina – Caterpillar Oil & Gas, along with Finning Cat will be showcasing the latest innovative solutions to bring reliable power combined with cutting edge technology to customers’ operations at the 2017 Argentina Oil & Gas Expo. Caterpillar will focus on its latest offerings for the Oil and Gas industry, including G3600 ADEM 4 technology. Cat® G3600 engines provide users with an increase of over 5.5 percent in horsepower rating and allow for operation over a broad range of fuels found in today’s compression applications.

Also featured at the exhibit will be a live Cat Productivity Optimizer (CPO) demonstration for gas compression. Part of the Cat Connect suite of offerings, CPO is a web-based application that delivers advanced production analytics to improve productivity, reduce operating cost, and maximize profit.

For Pressure Pumping, the Finning exhibit will highlight the latest Pump Electronic Monitoring System (PEMS) and Dynamic Transmission Output Control (DTOC). PEMS is a new way of managing pumping operations, as it can minimize downtime, preserve fluid end and power end components, as well as help to avoid catastrophic failures. PEMS is compatible with Cat Triplex and Quintiplex pump platforms, and has already generated more than 50,000 field hours in three shale plays.  DTOC was designed to provide much needed automation during pumping and cementing tasks that have historically required greater input from the operator. DTOC can be installed on a variety of OEM control systems and is intuitively easy to manage for any experienced well service operator.

The Finning exhibit will also feature a valve and seat display kit. Cat® 4-series and 5-series valves and seats are designed to maximize interchangeability across the Cat well stimulation fluid end line and be dimensionally compatible with industry-standard fluid ends in the 2000-3000 horsepower range.
