Chances are you’re already managing your personal or business financial accounts online, because it’s simple, secure and convenient. Did you know you can do the same with your Cat Financial contracts and Cat Card®? It only takes a minute to get set up on MyCatFinancial, and then you can log in, find information and take action anytime, from anywhere, online or via the mobile app. 

Here are five steps to take to get started — and start getting the most from this online account management portal:

 

1. REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT AT MYCATFINANCIAL.COM

It’s easy to manage your contracts or Cat®  Card with myCatfinancial. To register with a lease or loan contract, you will need your contract number, serial number and commencement date, which can all be found in your eSigned completed documents. 

Once you’ve linked a contract, all contracts booked under your account will also be linked and available for you to manage in MyCatFinancial. It gets better – any contract booked under your account in the future will also be automatically added to MyCatFinancial.  

To register your Cat Card in MyCatFinancial, select the Manage My Cat Card option at registration and enter your account name and 16-digit account number. 

If you already manage your contracts in MyCatFinancial, simply click Cat Card in the top navigation and click the button to Link Your Cat Card. Just enter your account name and 16-digit account number to manage all of your finances in one place that you can access anywhere, anytime.  

 

2. SET YOUR NOTIFICATION AND ALERT PREFERENCES

MyCatFinancial is YOUR portal, so a good first step is setting up your email and text message preferences. Go to User Settings and select Manage Alerts to choose how you want to receive information about payments, contracts and more. Some of your options include:

  • Payment notifications: get reminders, confirmations and past-due notices for your active contracts

  • Contract notifications: get a notification when you have a new invoice ready to view

  • Used equipment notifications: get updates on used equipment for sale

  • Cat Card Invoice notifications: get a notification when you have a Cat Card invoice ready to view

3. CHOOSE HOW YOU WANT TO RECEIVE INVOICES

Some people like hard-copy invoices they can file away, while others would rather save paper and receive notices electronically. On MyCatFinancial, it’s your choice — and you can choose different options for different contracts. To set your paper or email invoice preferences, go to User Settings and select Invoice Delivery.

4. ENROLL YOUR CONTRACT IN DIRECT PAY

Do you prefer the peace of mind of knowing your monthly payments will be made on time, every time? Direct Pay does it for you automatically. To sign up, go to User Settings and select Enroll/Manage Direct Pay. You can decide which contracts you want to enroll — you don’t have to include them all.

5. KNOW WHERE TO ACCESS KEY INFO

MyCatFinancial serves as a hub for important information about your contracts and Cat Card, so it’s always accessible when you need it. To find specific documents or your annual tax information, log in and select a specific contract. Then, go to the Contract Menu and choose the document you want to view.

6. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE KNOWLEDGE CENTER
