Level I Operator Training Course

  • This course is designed for entry level operators with less than 3 years Off-Highway Truck operating experience. Training includes classroom and in-the-iron activities covering: Safety, walkaround inspections, operators compartment, start up/shut down procedures, basic operating procedures based on industry requirements and basic earthmoving fundamentals so an individual can develop skills to operate equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion.
  • Class size limited to 4-6 students.
  • Class duration is 2 days.

Level II Professional Operator Training Course

  • This course is designed for experienced Off-Highway Truck operators with 3 or more years of experience. Participants benefit by refining operating techniques and learning application tips and knowledge. Training includes classroom and in-the-iron activities covering: Safety, walkaround inspections, operators compartment, start up/shut down procedures, basic operating procedures based on industry requirements and basic earthmoving fundamentals so an individual can develop skills to operate equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion.
  • Class size limited to 4-6 students.
  • Class duration is 2 days.

Level III Professional Operator Certification

  • This course is designed as an evaluation of the experienced off-highway truck operator skill set. Certification is earned through demonstration of skills by completing established operational tasks to Caterpillar standards. Program ensures operation and application efficiency by machine family in a number of applications.
  • Successful completion of a Level II class is a prerequisite.
  • Participants need to demonstrate the ability to conduct a thorough walkaround inspection, pass a safety quiz with a score of 100% and a written knowledge assessment with a minimum score of 80%.
  • Participants that meet these requirements earn a Certificate of Registry. (Participants that do NOT meet these requirements will receive a certificate of participation.)
  • Class size limited to 4-6 students.
  • Class duration is 2 days.
