Cost effective and simple to order, these overhaul solutions include the genuine Cat truck engine parts required for a reliable, high-quality rebuild that meets Caterpillar’s recommended overhaul practices.

You can repair with confidence, knowing you have the right parts for the job, conveniently assembled in one package. And every kit comes with built-in peace of mind for your customers, since they're covered by a 12-month Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship.

Choose from six kits to fit each customer's specific repair need:

• Bronze: low-cost, basic repair option
• Silver: basic in-frame overhaul
• Gold: basic in-frame overhaul that delivers a cost-effective extension of asset life
• Platinum: complete out-of-frame overhaul that replaces the need for block machining
• Titanium: complete out-of-frame overhaul that saves labor on piece part assembly
• HEUI^TM fuel system: addition to bronze, silver or gold kits for mid-life performance improvement

DROP IN AND KEEP ON ROLLING

When you need more than a kit to repair a customer's medium-duty engine, we’ve got you covered. Assembled solutions and complete remanufactured engines help reduce downtime and costs — without sacrificing quality and reliability.

• Cat Reman short blocks include a cylinder block, crankshaft and assembled pistons and connecting rods. They're covered by a 12-month Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship.
• Cat Reman long blocks are fully assembled and ready to be built into a customer's engine. They come complete with cylinder block and head, crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, timing gears, lifters, oil pump, oil cooler and high-pressure HEUI pump. Cat Reman long blocks are covered by a 12-month Caterpillar Limited Warranty1 against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship. Plus, flexible core acceptance criteria2 mean even broken or cracked blocks are eligible for credit.
• Cat Reman complete engines are a drop-in engine replacement solution. Fully assembled, they come with an air compressor, main engine wiring harness, electronic control module and all engine sensors. Each medium-duty remanufactured engine is covered by a 36-month, 150,000 miles or 3,600 hours Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship, plus towing coverage for the first 12 months. And similar to long blocks, even damaged engines are eligible for core credit.

CAT REMAN ENGINE PARTS PERFORM LIKE NEW

Did you notice that many repair options for your customers' medium-duty truck engines are Cat Reman solutions? If you're not familiar with remanufacturing — or the advantages of choosing a Cat Reman engine or component — here’s how it works:

1. Your customers return a “core” — an old or damaged part or engine.
2. We inspect the core, and if it meets our criteria, it enters the remanufacturing process.
3. We disassemble the core, then clean, inspect and salvage the individual piece parts.
4. We reassemble the part or engine into a like new component, then test it to make sure it meets Caterpillar original performance specifications with critical engineering updates.
5. The Cat Reman part or engine is then available for purchase at a local authorized Cat dealer or on Parts.Cat.Com.

ADDED PEACE OF MIND

Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ coverage comes with all Cat medium-duty engine repair options. If your customers are interested in even more protection, they can add Extended Service Coverage (ESC). It’s available for up to 48 months for qualified components, precious metals kits and Cat Reman medium-duty engines.
