You’ve got five days, 2,800 exhibitors to see and 2,500,000 square feet to cover. Read our CONEXPO tips to make this the show that moves your job, and your business, forward. Here’s how to make the most of your time and have your best show yet.
Meet the men and women behind the equipment. When you visit Operator Stadium, take a minute to connect with the employees working the show floor. Share the challenges you’re facing on the jobsite and get their recommendations on solutions. Use Caterpillar experts to get your questions answered, and even to make sure you’re getting the most out of your current equipment.
It’s one thing to walk around a machine; it’s another to see it actually do the work. This year, Caterpillar is revolutionizing the CONEXPO-CON/AGG experience with Operator Stadium. This impressive 60,000-square-foot outdoor arena means you can watch demonstrations of the latest machines. For example, check out the new 150 AWD motor grader with all-wheel drive that assists with traction and maneuvering, allowing the machine to work in any environment.
The show is the perfect place to dive deeper into the technology and safety features that will be showcased on more than 30 Cat® machines at the show. Attendees will be the first to see Caterpillar’s latest remote control offering, a special operating station with more capability to operate multiple pieces of equipment, equipped with the Command Vision System, from a single remote station. Get hands on with technology that could majorly lower your costs, like the engine technology and control system for the new 325 medium excavator that reduces fuel consumption by up to 25%.
Trade shows don’t have to be all work; we’ve got your entertainment covered. Head over to Operator Stadium on Tuesday, March 10, to see the world’s best operators go head to head in the Global Operator Challenge Finals. Thousands of operators have participated, dozens advanced, but only one can be named the champion. To make it this far, operators had to demonstrate a wide range of talent on multiple machines, displaying skills with advanced machine technologies. Finalists will compete in three machine challenges. Not at the show? Tune in for the live feed on cat.com.
This CONEXPO-CON/AGG, you have the opportunity to play along with two different games within the Cat experience. Brush up on your trivia before watching Mike Rowe host “Titan of the Trades,” the only game show made exclusively for people who work in the construction trades. Also, enter The Great Giveaway for your chance to win a Cat Mini Excavator or other worthy prizes. During the show, check in at marked kiosks at Operator Stadium to play along. You must be present to win.
The Caterpillar experience at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 is designed to get you the most from your visit. Find everything from expertise to new products to fun games and experiences at Operator Stadium. When you’re not on site, stay up to speed online by following #CatCONEXPO on social media, watching the live feed, connecting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
