Caterpillar’s 140 motor grader uses a C9.3 engine and top-of-the-line emissions control technology to maximize fuel usage and productivity, while standard Eco mode reduces fuel costs by up to 10%. All-wheel drive, power shift countershaft transmission and increased traction reduce slippage in even the most difficult terrain. Grade technologies, such as the optional Cat Grade with Cross Slope, enhance grading accuracy on the first pass and also reduce rework, improving productivity and accuracy by up to 50%. Joystick controls reduce operator fatigue, and the high-visibility cab, with a suspension seat, isolation mounts and HVAC, keep your operator comfortable.
