A first of its kind for the mining industry, the Cat MEC500 Mobile Equipment Charger is a standalone fast charging system designed to charge quickly and safely wherever it’s needed. It can be towed, dragged or fork-lifted — providing an alternative to expensive static charging station infrastructure, the need for additional batteries, and battery handling and swapping. And it can fully charge the Cat® R1700 XE LHD in less than 30 minutes, or in 20 minutes when used in tandem.

CPM Payload Weighing System

CPM includes an integrated onboard payload scale with material management, cycle count and time recording, as well as wireless production detail reporting capability. Reports can be sent wirelessly or over a wired connection between the loader and a computer for analysis in VIMSpc.

AutoDig

AutoDig is a software-enabled attachment that controls the implement system during bucket loading for accurate, repeatable performance and reduced operator fatigue. It is ideal for inexperienced operators and for remote operation. Autodig is not compatible with third-party remote systems.

Traction Control

Traction control maximizes tire life for increased machine uptime and reduced maintenance costs.
